We donlt know exactly what they were doing in Peru but it doesnlt sound like a gap year or conventional business trip. if they've gone all expenses paid then I'd guess they had a fair idea of what was going on (if they didn't they should have) and they've only got themselves to blame.

How long before we hear mounful pleas for justice from her parents? How long before the parents tell us it cannot be true and that these innocent girls were somehow set up? How long before they get the jail and her parents plead for them to serve their sentences in a richt guid Scots prison?

I don't disagree, but I doubt there's many parents who would think their daughters were trafficking drugs.

The worst part of it is a big name lawyer will come out, protest their innocence and claim any sentence they receive is unjust. They're the real criminals.
