Somehow I don't think just his wages would be the problem maybe the fact that he would never at present sign for us could be a stumbling block !

Heard Brucey has been to France and is back already - watched a player and didn't rate him apparently.

Don't we have scouts for that kind of thing? I don't think Bruce would go all the way to France just to check on a player, I think he'd go if he was going to sign him, or if the player was unsure and SB wanted to talk him round to our cause.

Might make Mohammed Rabiu at Evian my favourite punt on #hcafc signing. Ghana international midfield. Also Morgan Amaltifano at Marseille.

I wonder what's made him say that? Seems strange that we took Tie Bi on trial and then decide we're after his team mate.

Mohammed Rabiu is much more important to Evian than Tie Bi is though, and they probably didn't/wouldn't allow him to come to us on trial. He is a really good player and 1 I hope we sign, clubs such as Everton, Fulham, Benfica, Porto and Marseille have been linked to him in this window: http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ielder-mohammed-rabiu-favours-move-to-england
(this sky article does say he favours a move to England which could help in our favour)

On the Morgan Amalfitano front L'Equipe are reporting he is staying in Marseille despite interest from West Brom, but they haven't picked up on the interest from us like our local media has so who knows. Watching Marseille play know, he's on the bench and it certainly doesn't look like they need him, they were 3-0 up after 15 minutes. (Wonder if Bruce is in attendance)

Both of those would be great signings for us.

Not now... we should put big money towards getting players like Huddlestone and those frenchies.

I would of thought wolves would take half that fee to get him off the wage books if we wanted anyone from wolves I reckon it would be sako.

Spot on; I'd have taken Karl Henry but he went for the pay cheque at QPR. Fulham had a bid of £4m turned down for Sako though, I wonder how badly Wolves want to get rid of him, because I've heard he wants out of League 1 sharpish.

I thought wolves asked for 4 million but Fulham wouldn't budge from 2.5

Well either way we're not shelling out that kind of money for him. We need a defensive player anyway, Sako is too attacking for what we need and we already have Brady, Aluko and Boyd for that.
