Watch his shirt on Sunday. Any bets on it saying "Curtis Davies Tigers"?

    He's only being honest.

The players are probably just as surprised as everyone else at the club. I wonder what Brucey's thoughts are on the whole damn affair?

I'm sure he thinks it's ridiculous but he'll keep it to himself.

He wouldn't come out and say anything about it unless he or the Allams left the club. Which is probably the sensible thing to do.

I qas really impressed with Davies on Saturday, not just as a player but as a person. He seemed like a real leader, commanding respect even though he's new to the team. At the end when Dawson was instructed to go on an awkward solo lap of honour round the pitch, he was trying to get the team to join him but they were clearly even more embarrassed about it since they've achieved nothing yet, but Davies was straight in there and persuaded others to join them. He never even played with Dawson but was the first one to help him out.

Maybe he's the leader we need and have been lacking since Ash went

I think Bruce realised that was what we were lacking last season.
