a prerequisite for a diving header is that a player doing one will tend to be more or less parallel to the ground when head-to-ball contact is made rather than perpendicular to it. just falling over a few yards later doesn't make it a diving header.
i once diving headered some genitals, it was the 90th minute, i could feel tension in the atmosphere but came my diving header and the crowd went ****ing wild! euphoria was amongst us
Good goals, but how did they not see Aluko, it's not as though we play in green & he blended in with th grass. But hey there's an idea, play in green!
Everton play Real Betis today at Goodison, interesting to say who plays against them and the score later today.
One thing of note today, the beer was actually nice, new Carling pumps and every pint hand pulled. Interesting to see how that works when we are getting 20,000+
From where I was sat in the east stand it looked like a diving header. The video does indeed prove it just a header. Who care, it was a goal either way!
Brady, turns out they are playing Everton today, so we were not their last friendly. I cannot find the line-up for their game today. Interesting to see how the starting XI' s compare though.
Good goals against a good team, second was horrid marking from their defense. Gedo's goal was a proper poachers goal.
There were some Real Betis fans sat near me on half way line. When they announced crowd of just under 8,000, said there were 50 away fans. Well done them.
Absolutely, considering they played Everton today - a much more attractive game to go to on face value. Anyone know the score from that game, btw?
Terry was busy using the name change to stick one to the Allams (and just had to get a mention of rugby in there): Councillor Terry Geraghty, portfolio holder for culture and leisure at Hull City Council, said: "They can do what they want as they own the club. "Hull FC tried changing their name to Hull Sharks, but that didn't last long. "Hull is known all over the world and we received a lot of positive publicity with the same name when we last reached the Premier League. "Changing the name to me wipes the history and is a backward step at a time when we are shortlisted to be the City of Culture."
