I know HIAG is a bell end who stumbles over and falls face first into his own gaffes, but I don't think him and Sisu are the same person. Sisu just liked to wum, but to be honest I didn't really have a problem with him on this board.

i think we should all take a minute to thank the merciful lord that we are fortunate enough to NOT be Liverpool fans .

We have slipped a little from our normal excellence .

This is what I was saying. Suarez clearly thinks that Brenda has broken promises to him, why would he want to apologise ?
He probably thinks Brenda owes him an apology. Hopefully this insistence that Suarez should apologise will be be the catalyst for him to hand in a transfer request.

 

I think everything coming from Liverpool at the moment is just hot air to drive up the price, and I actually think Arsenal will go with it.

 

Desperation from Rogers and probably a final attempt to get the player to show more respect for the club and its' fans.
Players don't do that anymore, we've suffered more than most in recent years and whilst I don't like to see it even I've come to accept that it's just part of football these days...

 

Honest question time. We all can assume that just participating in the CL isn't the height of his ambition... so if we only manage to finish 2nd-4th in the PL, and make it to the quarterfinals of the CL, how long could we realistically keep Suarez?


I would think that even if Liverpool agree to a fee, the Suarez camp will insist on a 3 year contract, and the longest we could keep him would be 2 seasons unless we win a significant trophy.

 

I think the situation at Liverpool though is a bit like Modric and Levy at the spuds, Both Levy and Rodgers had made promises to their players that if they didn't make CL football then they would be sold if a decent enough bid came in. When that happened both reneged on their promises and completely ****ed off their players.

It's not really a case now of Suarez showing Liverpool respect as he feels that they have totally disrespected him and gone back on promises made to him. I'm hoping that clown Brenda's insistence that he says sorry, will be the final straw for Suarez and he hands in a transfer request.

 

The point for us though is that with Suarez he could take us to the next level, so it would be win win for club and player.
