no doubting his ability and the goals against the nags and everton were priceless, but so was aj's v city, all of fletchers goals, the 3-0 win over west ham, the list goes on.

I dont think he would have scored those goals under mon, so like i say, for me ellis and pdc kept us in the prem

Agree ..... This could be a very big season for Sess we need to keep him because he can be class .If you look at his best performance`s he is top dollar . Its just getting him to preform great in more games .He can make things happen and when he does he is up there with the best in the league and a lot of fans outside of safc no that as well . We got to keep hold of him for the good of the club .<ok>

Like I said to Paolo's pecs, if we are going on goals then Fletcher goals keep us up. I went to all the home games & at the start of the season only fletcher scored & for the rest of the season it was mostly a Mig & Danny Rose show.

If you banging on about goals then Fletcher goals won us more points so he keep us up. no player keep us up because if Short didn't sack O'Neill then we would of went down & that is a stat fact. I agree with The PDC Effect in saying PDC & Short keep us up.

    Your ignoring what I said.

What if he had passed the ball to other better placed players in the 18 yard area rather than shooting at the corner flag, what if he had completed a pass in a build up that had led to a goal rather than passing to the invisible man and conceding possession.

He made up for some glaring howlers is the fact you should not ignore.

If he had done half of the above when he had the chance we would not have had scrape a win against Everton.

Thing we need to remember lads is that good players will constantly be linked with moves away. It's a fact of life. The fact it's happening shows us, despite a bad season, that we've got genuine quality in the squad, if we continue to bring in quality it's going to happen more and more. Lets hope it's something we're going to have to get used to.

Totally agree, when we see his best he is outstanding..................however I'm tempering this with we hardly ever see his best - we get glimpses, cameos and icebergs tips of his talents & ability and taking into account his red card with his missed chances & misplaced passes then he could just as easily have sent us down than kept us up.

We need him but we need him at his best.

yes we need him at his best but sometimes he miss places passes and is off form. Well that's fine by me.we now have replacements if he is not on form or injured or even loss of confidence that does not mean we have to cash in and sell him.he is our most talented player and we must keep him at all costs

Cannot agree more. I remember speaking with a psg fan and he said sess's biggest problem was his inconsistency.. One night he's lighting up the Parc des Princes the next he's a no show. In saying that i still believe he has a big role to play, although i know **** all about football compared to everyother safc lad i know, i'd rather keep him.. That goal against Nooocarstle is massive in my memory bank :1980_boogie_down:

Are we a better side, assuming form & fitness of entire squad, with Sessegnon.

I don't need to wait for an answer, and that's how simple it is.

Good sides, they don't sell the crown jewels. If the offer is £20 million or some ****, then it becomes a business decision. £10 million or less and it is a poor footballing decision.

Personally i don't think he;s going pp, sess just signed a new contract last season.. i'm with you on the fact that it'd be a poor football decision to let him go.. it would be like Everton letting fellaini and baines go,, just plain stupid mate. I hope pdc has sess in his plans, if not who does he see stepping into that role only 6 days out from the fulham showdown?

If Sess is on form then I got no problem with him but please tell me how many good games did he have last season? not many in my opinion & haven't you sess fans thought sess may be the problem in the final third because if we are being honest we have been very poor in that depertment.

He had no quality back up and as such was trying to do too much, when AJ started to play, Sess improved, add Giacc, and he will have freedom.

v Boro in the cup there was a moment where Sess beat his man, looked up, nobody, dropped shoulder, beat him again, looked up nobody, held it then smashed it across goal and won a corner, he held the ball in there for 6-8 seconds and got no support.

He looked at the North Stand and shrugged as if to say 'what can I do?'.

This was a prime example of a players talent being unfulfilled due to a lack of support, and this season, he has that support.

I won't blindly defend him, but he IS the most naturally talented footballer I have ever seen in the shirt, not even a question mark about that.

I'm 33 years old and a season ticket holder of 26 years, by the way.
