We can evolve and survive by staying in the premier league and been successful on the pitch. Changing our name has **** all else to do with it. That's why clubs aren't falling over themselves to make more fashionable and less 'lousy' names. Everyone accepts change, but some aspects are unneccessary. None of us are stuck in the past. We just know what a ****ing stupid idea it isthatbq simple name change will give us untold glory.
Erm, I didn't say you weren't there. I asked if you were. You failed o answer whether you were in the lowest crowd for a competitive game. And you're right, I will always follow Hull City. If Hull City don't exist I wont support anyone in England. He is not changing the AFC, he is ditching the word City. I don't understand why you cant grasp this. IT WONT BE HULL CITY.
Couldn't agree more. I am dismayed by the couldn't care less attitude of some of our fans. After this incident I feel less connected to the fans of my club (as it exists today) than I have ever felt. Even that betting site (cant recall which one) said other clubs fans would've reacted much stronger. ****ing shambles the lot of em, willing to sell anything for a successful team on the pitch.
Yes it will. You really don't understand tbe concept of monikers do you? AA could change the name to Tin pot tigers, they'll still always be hull city. But, coming back to your narrow minded view, they'll still be named hull city for a while yet anyway, regardless of the imbeciles who are claiming otherwise (and no, before you claim otherwise, AA hasn't said they'll not be HC, he said he doesn't like it)
I can 100% cast iron guarantee that Allam plans for the club not to have City in the name for the start of next season. Do you really think the new badge is a coincidence? And why do you care about my stance? Im not asking you not to go anymore if they change the name of the club. It's almost like you're trying to convince yourself everything is ok and you can sleep well at night rolling over and accepting this.
Ha, I've known it was coming for a while so I sleep fine cheers. In fact my wife says that I often sing 'hull city tigers' in my sleep! Calm down dear
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh - we're not just dropping the AFC. We're dropping the City. Do people actually read between the lines of just swallow completely what the club say? It's comments like this that have the hierarchy high-fiving.
I think you'll find the "don't mind" percentage a lot higher than that ! Only the "cabbages"come on this site to moan
Dogs, I'm afraid that you're wasting your breath. Some people are on the verge of having a stroke because we may at some stage drop the term city as well as afc. They cannot or will not grasp the fact that if we were called Assams astars we'd still be hull city
That you even have to ask is evidence enough that you simply are to dense to waste yet more time expiring it you you. Now, I've more inportant things in life to deal with, like watering the garden, so I'll leave you to stew on what seems to be the only event of any importance in your life.
I never say that I was born in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I've no need to in every day conversion. But that's its name and you don't **** around with that. The reasons for the name change makes no sense, other than the personal dislike of it by Assem Allam. Surely you can use 'The Tigers' to market the club, without ****ing around with the clubs traditional name. Aparently Allam Marine do very little business with companies that have a maritime connection. Some would say the name Marine is 'irrelevant', it's most likely very 'common'. Yet for some reason he chooses to keep it. Could it be that somehow the name matters to him on a personal level?
Is that another way of saying that you can't draw a conclusion because there is no logic in what you said before?
Saturday Sundae: Tigers roar but it's another fine mess for Charlton Hull City Tigers beat Real Betis 3-0, Hyde were on a hiding to nothing, while Charlton had Laurel and Hardy on their side. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/11/saturday-sundae-charlton-hull-city-tigers That doesn't sound bad to me, especially compared to "Hull beat Real Betis 3-0."
Spot on, same as the Barmby thing. The club is ran by ****ing power freaks. They don't even care what they're doing as long as its them that decides they're doing it, and yet no one gives a ****. It isn't limited to the owners either. There were people defending WYPs decision to treat us like criminals and a worrying number of people who don't care about the club, but care about the rest of us caring enough to moan about it.
