    He does have a point. A couple of years at RM on say £8m a year is nothing compared to 6 years at Arsenal on £5m (as an example).

    He's easily become one of the richest managers in football (which probably goes a long way in explaining the envy driven xenophobic double standards he sometimes gets subjected to from media and pundits)

    Gordon Bennett, we've gone 131 pages into a thread about Suarez and we're no closer to signing him and with a week away from the start of the season. The transfer window couldn't have been any worse if Frank Spencer was in charge. <rofl>

    What do you class as true value, one team has made a bid of £40mil+1, nobody else has even bothered bidding so how can you think he is worth more than the only team interested in him is willing to pay?

    In all honesty i consider every premiership team as Uniteds rivals because if they can take points off you they can stop you finishing where you want to be.

    Yeah, Suarez refusing to play is fairly blatant. Liverpool refusing to play Suarez is harder to prove.

    Either way though, he's out of the club.
    I don't know if he'll come to us or be sold next window to another club,
    but his days at Liverpool are numbered.
