This Plastic fans who should f*ck off to support a plastic **** club like the Chavs. They have been brought up on unlimited success and take it as a given. We all hope that DM will land on his feet and get going straightaway but he may not. In which case he should be given time. No fan in his right mind should expect Moyes to immediately have the same level of success as SAF. FFS ferguson took 6 years to get the first title and more than 25 years to reach this sort of standard.
Can agree, especially when the league hasn't even started yet. It's chavesque to turn on a manager before a ball is even kicked and to boo him and bring the team down. Totally Chavesque.
The only joke that's taken place today is your team's performance against Celtic's reserves/youth side. Of course it's the English premier league, after all we are representing the English FA in Europe this season
Well Dave we are currently champions of England, I believe the Welsh guy's team won as many national championships as your lot did. I see you're discussing ****ing again, still having some trouble?
Honestly, I don't see any plastics on these threads. Plastics don't have time for football forums. Anyway, by the definition of posters here, there are only two kinds of supporters, one, diehard fans who ingest each and everything thrown at them by their beloved club, and the other, just plain plastics. Then where's the room for those who want to weigh things and even criticise their club's folly. That's why Glazers have been ****ing with us this whole time. Love United, Hate Glazers, I don't know about Moyes, so I'll just wait and watch. Until then good luck.
Rather simplistic categorisation. There is a range of supporters in between these two extreme positions. The first you allude to is the unquestioning 'absorbing everything from the club' fan and the other is the one who stops supporting the club if it goes one season without a trophy ( like some of the plastic Chavs ). In between we have the fan who have followed the club through its history, lived through the barren times, the tough times when the teams didn't reflect the size and huge following of the club, who is able to support and be a United fan without loving the owners or the management. Some of us can make a difference between United and the Glazers ( who have made a killing exploiting the club). This type of fan can support Moyes without asking for instant success.
Well said that man, i have supported United from the earliest i can remember (3 or 4 years old) i am now 55, i have followed us into the old second division (when we still had the highest attendances in the country, despite Liverpool being top dogs), there will never be a club who will compare to United in my view and although managers/owners come and go the club will always be in my heart.
