Quite right. This is a personal choice and I do believe that the the split will be something like. 30% against any change. 30% against dropping City 40% either don't mind or don't care.
AFC in our title is totally superfluous. We never use it? Whoever whenever asked who they support declare 'Hull City AFC'. Its Hull City, or Tigers. Don't expect the vocal minority, being lead by a Sunderland supporter, to be backed during matches by the silent minority.
