Think it might of been his knee it wasn't like the Panathinaikos player scythed him down or anything, I don't think Paul Trollope was talking to Hughton about Johnson's goal though it looked like he had a message.

Lovely move there involving E Bennett, Fer and Wolfswinkel, and Fer showing he's not afraid to try a shot from range.

If it's the same as Tuesday (I'd presume so), it was £15 an adult, which I do feel is a little steep, especially when the Bury cup game is £10.

E Bennett looking more dangerous than I remember last season, final ball still a bit lacking though. This looks like a much better performance than midweek to me, we're getting into much better positions.

Also, how on earth is this greek(?) commentator managing to mix up Hoolahan and Tettey?

    Ipswich 3-0, what is this??

Ah well, at least it might give them something to talk about on their own board!

I've been impressed with Tettey today to be honest, think he's played well.

We've looked pleasingly sharp in the wide areas of midfield. Lots of good passing and moving, particularly from Whittaker and Snoddy, and later on from Garrido, Fer and Redmond.

He was someone I was just about to comment on, I think there's chance he might be back to his pre-Christmas standards. Certainly options in that DM role now, which should be good competition.

    For Everton I'm thinking:
    Ruddy
    Whittaker-Turner-Bennett-Olsson
    -------Tettey--Johnson--------
    Snodgrass--Hoolahan--Redmond
    ---------van Wolfswinkel-------

And I'd be very happy with that.

    Game over, 2-0.

To me, it looked like a calf problem for Hooper, but I'm no expert. NCFC twitter is going to try to find out from CH.

Good game, Johnson was great. Hoping Hooper isn't serious. Fingers crossed.

Hooper was only out once for us in his time at Celtic. I really hope his injury isn't bad.

    he's deffo not injury prone.

    Hope he's ok.

    That smile :(

All news sites are suggesting it was his ankle. I don't think it looked too bad, but you never know.

Good result but I thought we were really sloppy t times, particularly Hoolahan. Both Bennetts were very good.

Johnson had a fantastic game. I only saw two passes go astray, both of which were ambitious through balls (admittedly my stream was very bad...) I thought he could have got hattrick when he lined up just outside the area, then I remembered his shooting...

Thought Garrido and Olsson combined well going forward.

In other news, good choice (though not a particularly difficult one) on club and team captains
