    There used to be a rotating WFC logo that could replace a Windows 'egg timer' that was knocking about some years ago.

    But I've been Mac for 6.5 years now :D. It is possible to create a spinning one, but would take more time and brain cells than I can spare at the mo' :wink:.

    Off to bed now, good night you two :smiley:.

    <ok>

    Great thread SLB - I have got a whole lot of different Avatars and appropriate quotes ready to fly...so watch out for them. Some are very different...:D

    GG - I find old Uncle Joe a fascinating creature, now don't get me wrong he was a trurly appalling tyrant and mass murderer to boot. But he turned a huge group of disparate countries just after WW 1 into a world super power by the 50's...so no fool either. There is a great book called "Young Stalin" which tells the story of his early life and is a fascinating read.

    I will be putting up a new Avatar in the next couple of days and there is a bottle of View attachment 3734 for the first person to work out who it is...:tongue:

    Can't get away from the fact that he is an appalling, larger than life figure, and fascinating for sure. Certainly no fool. Haven't read that book- is it the Sebag Montewotnot thing? Will give it a go.

    Looking forward to the unveiling of the new avatar!

    OFH - Yes a real one, only condition is that I will be sharing it! They have that behind the bar at The Hornets Nest at the Vic...

    I swear this is true... we went to my Mum and Dad's yesterday evening. I read these Uncle Joe posts late afternoon. Stayed late, had a late night, wake up having dreamt that parents alerting me to "overnight breaking news" that Putin has interned 10m people. Pretty scary stuff. Threats of nuclear war etc.

    But phew! It was only a dream... and you were there w_y, and you Norway, you were a tin man, and you ofh, you were a Wizard, and you Hornette, you were a girl called Dorothy and you had a scraggy dog on a string (it's all the rage, you know).
