If Kroenke told Henry not to bid for a player as there is 0% chance any bid would be accepted, Kroenke would be pissed off too. Though that is purely hypothetical of course as Henry isn't stupid enough to bid for a player when he's been told there's no chance of it happening, and he definitely isn't stupid enough to bid almost £15million below a players value after he's been told there's 0% chance of getting him even if he bid full value.

I guess Fergie should've given up last year on RVP when Peter Hill Wood came out and said he's not for sale. Or maybe, one that you can even relate to more closely, Chelsea should've given up on Torres when the very same idiot Henry was spouting the same guff as he's spouting now.
John Henry, along with your poor excuse for a manager are both out of their depth.

I would argue Wenger and your procurement team are out of their depth. They don't buy regularly what you clearly need and constantly sell your best players.

Your comparison with RVP is poor too as you pretty much had to sell him because of the total mismanagement that left him with just a year left on his contract.

They key issue for Arsenal over the last few years has been key players leaving - we haven't had many issues buying players (not as many as people would lead you to believe) but we haven't been able to afford the top level of players andour top players have been wanting out. Which unfrotunately has lead to our current situation. Wenger didn't have a choice with the players leaving, he was told by the board they would be sold when he was willign to keep them.

As for RVP the club could have kept him for his final year but decided they would rather have the cash whilst they could get it. The alternative was letting him run down his contract. Being in his lastyear was nothing to do with mis-management as contract negotiations where on-going for a LONG period of time and it RVP who simply wouldn't sign a new contract.

    Suarez refusing to apologise <laugh>

Thing is if he stays at pool he is to good to bench, or leave out of the team. Would not surprise me if suarez sabotaged liverpools season from the inside, going to be a lot of stuff going on at anfield if he stays

Because of the length of his contract, he's the one with the most to lose here. BR will not let him in the team if he begins disrupting it, he has already excluded him for his awful attitude. Then we'll see if anyone wants to take him next summer after a year without any competitive football. The more he disrupts the less chance he has of getting his dream move to a good champions league team or a move to Arsenal.

Behave pal, you have aspas and borani who could not score in a brothel with a pocket full of £100 notes, you will play him when results go against you. Even teams like real will still take him in a year even with very little football, they just won't pay much for him.

Suarez is leaving this summer, he will be gone before the 3rd of September. That's why Liverpool are actively seeking a replacement. He won't "rot in the reserves" (****ing LOL), he won't apologise just so he can play, he won't put everything behind him and pledge allegiance to the YNWA. Liverpool want a replacement tied up before Suarez is gone. You Scousers are really naive if you think Sir John W of Henry is a gospel of truth.

You mean the guy who has scored 4 and assisted 4 in his first 5 games for Liverpool? Ok.

Real, one of the top 3 teams in the world will not take anyone who hasn't played any competitive football for a year, that's just ridiculous.

If a foreign team bids for him then I also think he will go. But no-one has shown any interest in him, which just leaves Arsenal. If you honestly think Henry will sell to Arsenal after that pathetic bid and the fact that he considers you rivals then you're the idiot.

What a ludicrous thing to say about Aspas when you clearly have never seen the guy play.

Well it doesn't matter because the only way he won't play competitive football for a year is if he is injured.

Do you honestly think that you could get away with something like that? Heck, do you even think it's an option being considered by the club or just overzealous fans like your self? At this very moment in time it's clearly obvious that Liverpool are trying to reduce their expenditure, their wage bill being the first port of call; of course though, Luis Suarez, your top earner, is going to be sent to play with the reserves for the season. LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL.

If he does not fulfill his contract then we have every right to punish him.

Ok, but in terms of the transfer it only matters what Henry thinks as he has the final say on what happens to Suarez. If he thinks you are our rivals then Suarez isn't going to you.

Gooners face it. Guardiola ****ed you over. He told you it was a releas clause and it would have taken Wenger a hell of a lot to mentally accept bidding 40 mil. The clause doesn't exist and you will not be bidding higher. Unless a foreign club comes in for him Suarez will be a liverpool player until at least January. A fact that disgusts me as I want the **** gone and out of the PL

A punishment in football is just a fine. There's no ****ing chance in hell that Suarez will be banished to the reserves. I find it baffling that some people are even considering it as a sane idea.

Think about it, if you sell him to us, you'll have at least 2 occasions to vent your anger and frustrations at him per year!
