A sad day for those of us who want to be entertained....he was worth the entance fee alone....different era from Rod & Stan but from the same mould....now we will have to get promoted without the flair we had last time.
That's a bit harsh in all fairness; we've only played 2 games this season so far but dull is not an adjective I'd use in relation to the performances, the spirit, the football and the joy on the terraces.
That's fair enough. We have been so starved of wins that the novelty of positive results will go a long way and last a long time. But if we turn into an identikit battling team without the audacity and arrogance that have been (albeit briefly) our past trademarks, it will be interesting to see how we feel.
as long as you get, you wont care what the football was like, under harry it wont be boring, he usually plays entertaining football, and he was rated the best manger in the u.k, si surely he will deliver
"Im an attacking player, I like to score goals"...... Well feel free to start then Adel...Any time over the last 2 seasons would have been nice....!!
interesting that the biggest criticism is that AT doesn't pass enough and shoots when others are better placed. I didn't see any signs on Saturday that Hoilett will do any better. Exciting to watch when running with the ball at second rate defenders but we'll see how much he actually creates for others.
Good point, I don't recall him playing anyone in. But then I don't recall anyone doing anything consistently for the last two seasons. Hoilett has made a good start to this one. I hope he keeps it up. I'll give it six games before I start picking holes in our players. ( Unless we lose on Saturday of course. )
Agreed mate, problem is Adel has only ever done it with second rate defenders too...? I dont think Hoillett is anywhere near as good as AT, but maybe he offers more of a TEAM game than Adel.? Dont know really, but 2 wins out of 2 is good enough to give him the benifit of the doubt ...for now. FYI, i thought an "on song" AT would have destroyed Sheff Wed. We just cant seem to get him "on song" often enough.
Think we need to come to terms with the fact that Adel wanted to leave. Easy enough to blame HR but Adel's not interested in playing in the second tier.
Maybe he doesn't, but he definitely doesn't want to play in the Championship again and we all need to come to terms with that. I don't think the situation would be any different if MH or anyone else was the manager.
Lets be honest mate...he wasn't even intreseted in playing in the first tier was he....?! As for the "hater " comment...pathetic ! Not you husky! people hate others pointing out the truth don't they ?!
I think he would if he had a manager who made him feel valued. Believe it or not, he does love the club.
Mate, he was part of the collective that was sh*t... time to stop defending him now.... He cares about our club, then why aint he on the team sheet this week..? why aint he trained?.. Wake up and smell the coffee mate. he's a fantasticly skillfull player, but he is just fu**ed in the head. Be at Brent ford in 2 years..!
Personally, I disagree. He wants top flight footy. But, yes, having HR at the helm has made it virtually impossible for Adel. For all his uselessness MH somehow got the best from Adel. Shame HR couldn't do it too. Would have liked for him to play for us in the Championship but it is what it is.
