    Plus, I don't see how good it's going to be for your cause keeping a player who's intent on going, and publicly came out saying he wants to go, and attacked the club, and manager, and the manager coming out and calling Suarez a liar by saying no agreement was ever made to let Suarez go if you failed to make the UCL. You have a very disruptive presence in your team, that's actually a very good thing for rivals, :), the more disharmony the better.

    Maybe you're right but it'll do us good in the long term as it will show players that they can't mess the club about.

    As many have said though, if he stays he needs to play well to get that move to a CL club that he wants. also risks a world cup place (unlikely though) should he not play all season.
