We know that as owners they can do what the **** they want! They could just close the club down if they wanted - is that acceptable to you too? Just because they CAN do what they want, doesn't mean they SHOULD. It's kind of similar to the difference between illegal and immoral. When it comes to things like football clubs that are close to a lot of people's hearts and lives, RESPECT should play a big part in any decisions.

Not happy at all. After reading the Official Club Statement on Facebook, and their piss-poor reasoning about "Attracting investment from foreign markets" is just rubbing our noses in it. We've been lied to by the Club many times on this topic which excels the feeling. There is no benefit in changing our name to "Hull City Tigers Ltd." at all. In fact, it's just going to make us a laughing stock for the Premier League and I've already had messages, phone calls, Tweets taking the piss out of us. If people just find us funny and an easy target for mocking then surely that will repel potential "investors" because they don't want to be associated with something that's so repulsive. Would their be any benefits to Protests do you reckon? Because I would most certainly join in...

I seem to remember either Duffen or Brownie say that, during our first season in the prem, we were the fifth most bet on club in the far east, top outside of the then big 4. Is there something in that? But then we weren't called the Hull City Tigers back then.

You're one of the worst and most pointless WUMs in a long time LCW. We've got no major Cups, no. But we have seen a back-to-back Promotion, Promotion to the Premier League TWICE for the first time in our history and a rightful place as the top team in Yorkshire (top, not BIGGEST before you spout the typical white ****e drivel). We may not have excelled in the top competitions at all, but we have a History that's valuable to the fans which includes escaping financial ruin time after time, emotional roller-coasters through our relative success, cult heroes such as Wagstaff, Windass and Barmby. All through our identity as "Hull City A.F.C".
I've noticed many posters have Tigers in their names, we are one of the few teams that have chants about the nickname, in fact all the " Mauled by the Tigers" chants may have swayed Allam to change the name, personally whatever Allam wants to do is fine with me, without him there would be no Hull City.
Because like Mr Allam said... I can call City whatever the f*ck I want, and they will not try and stop me.
Yes.. I work for the Marketing Department at Hull City Tigers (soon to be rebranded as Hull Tigers) and I wanted to infiltrate the hard core fan base, so that when Mr Allam struck his dastardly deed today, I could influence opinion from within.
