    When did I say it was ironic? I just like the program and character. As for boring, you hardly come across as Mr Exciting. And gay? <laugh> You're a limp-wristed, tree-hugging, bleeding-heart liberal veggie ffs. You couldn't be more gay if you became a hairdresser and bought a chihuahua.

    It's Malcolm Tucker from The Thick of It. Apparently now, according to Toby, avatars should either represent our character or be a polar opposite ie ironic. Mine is neither. He has never mentioned this before or chastised anyone else for this breech of protocol though, so I assume it's a recent development in the world how Toby sees it.

    It's difficult to keep up with Toby's standards for board conduct, as he can be somewhat self-contradictory. For example, n*gger and p*ki are unacceptably racist, but calling all Irish pikeys is fine. He also deplores homophobia and is happy to criticise the likes of thefanwithnoname for it, yet he also uses 'gay' as a derogatory term.

    The fact that I've been unwilling to moderate GC to Toby's confusing standards mean that he is now beeling with me.
