Zak Whitbread should be avalible after coming off on a stretcher last week at Middlesbrough. David Nugent played an hour in the week so might not be ready to start and with Jamie Vardy getting the winner last week he should keep his place. Matty James came off with a knock in the week but he should be ok. So here is what I would go with Schmeichel De Laet St. Ledger Morgan Whitbread Konchesky Drinkwater King James Wood Vardy Subs- Logan, Moore, Danns, Knockaert, Marshall, Dyer, Nugent
I'm no manager but after Vardy's winner last week would start him in front of Nugent. If you want to build a players confidence the worst thing you could do would be to drop him next time out.
I just think Vardys pace might be better utilised away from home or in the home games once the games become a bit stretched. wouldn't at all be disappointed if he starts but nuge and wood would just shade it for me. either way here's to a good performance from whoever does play and a result to match! I believe.
I'd go Vardy and Wood, because i think that Nuge and Vardy are too simular in their play, so we would be very 1 dimensional up front.
Backayogo for Konchesky for me - Moore should start because he did well when he came on .... otherwise as Proud has it (I'd prefer Whitbread to St Ledger tbh but you have to stick with those playingwell..
Nugent and Vardy for me too, think the rest of the team picks itself, though I'd like to see Knockaert in. I'd be worried if James is unfit. Not sure if Whitbread will come straight back, I think Moore might play instead as it sounds like he's impressed. Of course there's the new guy as well, wouldn't be surprised if our new Spaniard starts (incidentally, when was the last time we had a Spanish player playing for us?).
Well you must know more about Bakayogo than I do if you want him in place of a player that's done a pretty decent job at left back for two years now. Konchesky is certainly on my "get rid of" list, but because of his wages more than anything. If we keep him, we should play him. Regarding St. Ledger, he does have quite an eye for goal. If he can, you know, just learn to defend, then he could still be an asset (again, his wages are an issue though).
Do you guys expect Knockaert to start this game? I'd prefer if he didn't to be honest Also I'm a bit surprised none of you are putting Miquel into your line-up. A real quality signing you guys got there Also, if you guys wanna get involved in our match thread it could provide some good banter http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/223771-Leicester-City-vs-Leeds-United-Match-Thread
Most of the line ups was done before he signed. Its not 100% clear if he can play as were waiting on international clearance As for Knockaert he will be a great impact sub
First time in 4 seasons I won't be at this match, gutted as it's always a good day out. Murphy and Austin are gunna tear your team to shreds!
I think you'll win the midfield battle if King, Danns and Drinkwater start. But hopefully James and Konckaert come in for Danns and King. If they do then it'll be a totally different game.
At last we agree on something then ... yes I do. Konchesky remains a liability ... and a 'pretty decent job' shows that you don't really rate him either ... papers this morning suggest he wants a move back to London having been told he's free to go ....
Forgive me if I'm being an idiot but why would Miquel need international clearance if he is signing from Arsenal?
