He'll be sold to Anderlecht and Arsenal will take him on loan and make it permanent next year. God how i'd laugh my head off if that happened.

The most laughable thing in all of this is Brendan Rodgers talking about respect and how people should have more of it for an iconic club. he wasn't too bothered about that a few years back when he slated Watford fans (I know we're not iconic but respect for an emploer should exist regardless of staure) for questioning his loyalty saying he was in it for the long haul and had not spoken to Reading - then turned up at the madejski 24 hours alter to be unveiled as their new manager. It's nice to see you have a manager that reflects the traditional standards we've all come to know and love from your club <ok>

"A Champions League team (Arsenal) is making a big effort to get me and one always wants to be where they feel comfortable.
"Every player aspires to reach the top and Real Madrid is among the most important clubs in the world. It would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid."

You take that as categorical proof that he wants to go to the arse????

Face it pal, your best player thinks we are a bigger club, I know it is difficult for you to accept and you are now lashing out like a wounded animal, being a mid table team where your rivals are Fulham and west brom, must really hurt. But I really think you will have a good chance of catching everton, of course they are favourites, but I really do believe you can finish above them. Surely brendan rodgers 180 page dossier entitled "how to cement a mid table finish" will give you the edge.

He seems very open to joining Arsenal. Whoever he wants to move to one thing is very clear, he absolutely does not want to be at Liverpool.

He doesn't even mention you by name, the paper put your name in.

Had a good giggle at enigma's comment, lashing out like a wounded animal eh? Sounds like a bit of self projection there. Zero chance of getting Suarez, BBC have proof of tapping up, no worthwhile transfer activity all window. I can see the need to lash out like a cornered animal. Not going at all well is it?

Rosicky is a better passer of the ball, and is more intelligent with his runs and positioning. I like Coutinho but he couldn't make it into Arsenal's team. I think the only reason Liverpool fans rate him so highly is because he's a flashy player with good technique. The thing that I see you lot grow boners over the most is his outside of the foot passes - something that Rosicky is incredible at.

Lol, I understand your pain, your clearly hurting from three mid table finishes, and signing some relegated spanish bloke is unlikely to change that.

Where's this BBC proof of tapping up? I'd be very interested to see it.

There we go, the second ****** has stepped up to the plate. I put forward observations and arguments regarding footballing ability and some spastic walks into the class with a brand new Thomas the Tank Engine lunch box thinking he's the dog's bollox by laying down some stats.

I guess Coutinho must be miles ahead of David Silva considering in 29 appearances he only managed 4 goals and 8 assists...

Your decision to use stats is pathetic. Hang your head in shame. I'm not even going to comment on your statistical comparison of CAM's and CM/DM's.

Remember Coutinho is 11 years younger than Rosicky. I've had an eye on him since his younger Inter days and he seems to have gone off the boil since but judging by his period at Liverpool thus far he looks like he'll be miles better than Rosicky.

I see your point, but Rosicky has been injured a lot. It's hard to tell how good he might have become had he not spent so many injury plagued seasons here.

But that's not the point, we're talking about who is better and at this moment in time I would personally much rather have Coutinho.

I'd also rather have Coutinho as he is younger and offers a lot more. But it's all ifs buts and maybes as to whether he will turn out to be a great player as he is still young. Rosicky may not be as talented as this young lad but to Arsenal he offers a lot more in terms of experience. ;)

I think Rosicky has more talent than Coutinho.

Coutinho, if he keeps his current form up, will surpass him though.

Coutinho did this at Inter. Burst onto the scene in his first year, faded massively after that. I'd much rather have Rosicky, at least you know what you're going to get from him.

Not really. In his first season he appeared 20 times and only managed 1 goal and 3 assists.
