Smell the coffee mate. Suarez is NOT going to Arsenal under any circumstances in this transfer window. It's too late to put in a written transfer request. Even if he did LFC would merely acknowledge and reject it. Suarez has been told firmly that he will not win if he goes to court and there is no way the FA or the Premiership can force his sale.

You should be more worried about what Henry and Kroenke are plotting for Wenger and Gazidis

Suarez can always force his move. He would have to pay compensation to Liverpool and that has always been assumed to be his full worth, but this has never been tested. It is difficult to predict what the courts would decide. Any player can break his contact after 2-3 years depending on his age, and the compensation paid is usually just salary. But inside the 2-3 year protected period under Article 17, nobody knows what it would be. This is not something that the FA would necessarily want tested. They might rule in favour of Suarez simply to avoid that.

Certainly an interesting case, because generally speaking, you cant force people to work for you, contract or not. Certainly not a position any normal employer would want to be in.

 

Look on the bright side now that Suarez aint coming to Arsenal - you have Giroud

and some 27 year old French Division 2 part timer. Lets all be honest with ourselves here guys, Suarez still has 6 more games till his ban finishes, and tha Gunnaz will be out of the title picture by then
