We're not dropping City from the name of the club - although AA seems to want to - the AFC bit is being replaced by Tigers
You have my sympathies, I'd much rather us be playing a team called Hull City, with that name it will look like a pre-season friendly against a conference side when we play you now. There's no respect for heritage, it's just another Americanisation of British sport. Makes you sound like a rugby league team!

That's another marketing no no. It's obviously only done to minimise the outrage. After a while they will say it's ridiculous to have two names so they will call us Hull Tigers everywhere.
You've all miss the most important effect. You can colour in the g and e in Tigers, so no longer will we be the only team you can't colour any bits of the name in. I'm keeping my old shirts, city till I die.
