    Just back. Southend 0-1 Yeovil.

Nothing majorly exciting. Southend launched an onslaught for the last twenty but Marek Stech was on his game.

Hoskins looked good first half, despite a pass-back of a shot when his strike partner Michael Ngoo was clean in if he had played it.

Hoskins moved to left-wing 2nd half and looked lively in stages, playing one-twos and shooting, but more anonymous.

Seaborne didn't play but got some stick, Southend fans calling him a "Southampton reject" etc.

Yeovil deserved their win. Ngoo is a real talent. Billy Clifford looked good, as did Marek Stech.

Despite Brighton being a South Coast side, I do like it when minnows beat bigger clubs.

Call yourself a journalist? This is how you do it:

Just got in from Cobblers v MK Dons

Dons pass it from the back
    Cobblers hoof it
Ex-Saint Reeves scored a cracker and looked very comfortable at this level.
Ex-Saint Otsembebor (? - spelling, I'll get a job with the guardian) did alright too.
£20 for adult ticket to watch that ****e. Better than watching girls TV.... Just.

Very factual...apart from the fact that Southampton and Sunderland may not be interested. Apart from that...very accurate.

So, the other night when I was at Southend, I was saying Julian Bennett (ex-Forest) would be really good for Southend if they could keep him fit.

Then the Yeovil winger pushed him into the ad boards. Today, Southend United confirm he's done his ACL and is out for at least 7 months.

    Poor bloke.

With my ex-Saints hat on, how did Paul Smith, Aaron Davies, Dan Seaborne, Sam Hoskins, and anyone else I can't remember, do..?

Sam Hoskins scored and his team went through, I believe.

Paul Smith was benched by Southend. Davies? Not sure where you got that from.

    Seaborne benched for Yeovil too.

Hoskins did well, fashioning some chances and forcing late blocks.

Had three shots, one tame one into the keeper, one dragged just wide and one that the keeper turned behind. He also got the assist for the goal. He played LM second half.

Yep, got Aaron Davies mixed up. He moves around a lot of clubs. ;) He used to play for Yeovil a few years back. Now I remember, he hit the bar for Exeter the other night.
