lucas is fine for teams hoping the end top 6 but in order to acheive a top 4 spot we need real quality in the team. no suprise to find out that since lucas became a first team regular we havent ended top 4 once, i can't put all the blame on him however, yes he is poor but so are the likes of cole/maxi/soto/flanagan/ngog and spearing. i really hope these new owners arent as bad as H+G in the transfer market, the facts are though they have only given us 1 million to spend so far so we will have to see i guess. selling all those players i listed should net maybe 10 million and hopefully we get a decent budget in top to bring in some quality for a top 4 push next season.
Have you watched us this year? He has been our best player this season. The big games we have won this year- he played well in all them. We could get better players, but there are areas than need improving way before we look at Lucas.

I respect your opinion but you're wrong. Lucas has been excellent in the past year or so and has grown massively from the player we brought in 2007. He was voted our player of the season this season and has been consistent throughout a quite difficult season.
