    Liverpool have stuck with Suarez through thin and thin...he's an embarrassment. Mind you not as embarrassing as the way they blindly sided with him in the racist row...neutrality until the investigation had been conducted would have been more sensible. I think they should get the most money they can and go and get a player with a better temperament.

    Liverpool should cut their losses. He's good but he's barely worth all the trouble he's caused them and with that money they could buy two or three very good replacements.

    Well, nothing, but he's earning plenty at Liverpool. He's really trying to get into the champions league. Liverpool supposedly told him he could leave if they didn't qualify for it.

    Higuain is the main one, and there were rumours they wanted Cavani and Lewandowski also. Don't think they'll get Suarez either.

    I certainly won't be vilifying Suarez for wanting to leave but I'd have a little more respect for him if he'd chosen to submit a transfer request rather than just telling the media that he wants to leave.

    Yeah, they miss out on their 'loyalty bonus' if they request a transfer. Which is why we have these absurd situations of players who desperately want to leave their clubs but would rather cut off both their legs than submit a transfer request.
