yes that's right we are in a next round draw we will not be seeded in this draw the seeded teams are as follows Everton, Liverpool, West Brom, West Ham United, Norwich City, Fulham, Stoke City, Southampton, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Reading, QPR, Cardiff City, Hull City, Watford, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bolton Wanderers, Nottingham Forest, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Leeds United, Burnley or Birmingham City. so who do we fancy?? I would want Villa either home or away just because we haven't played them since 1982 and I have seen City play all the others
Yes everyone would love to face a big team and a trip somewhere like Anfield would be amazing but i have always looked at the cup as we should try and draw the smallest clubs left in it to give us a chance of progressing as the further you go the more money you can make and eventually you will get a big club so for me I wouldnt mind facing Newport County (even thought they beat Brightons B team) as they are only 30 miles away
Newport County for me.....I work in Newport and have a few county supporting mates so that would be fun! I remember going to their old ground...Rodney Parade.....one evening in a league game when the away end was rammed with City fans. We won and Steve Neville was booked for over celebrating with the City fans.......thats what we need back........strikers with 1980's perms!
A part of me wants to see us go out to a big team, just so we can field a decent team and get some Premier League stars to give us some training. Liverpool would be good. They pass it around a bit and we could learn a fair bit from them. Cardiff would also be a good game, not just for the rivalry, but because in terms of league they are so far ahead, so it'd be good to see how we compare to them now after we lost on their turf.

My mates support Norwich and Liverpool - so either of them please Alternatively I have not been to Goodison, so Everton away
Hopefully palace will rest most of their first team enabling us to progress and get Man U in Round 3 Cheer Up Holloway .............................
Crystal Palace at home is a great fixture to have! I couldn't give even the slightest **** about our "rivalry" with Ian Holloway. It's good to see a Westcountry accented man in the Premier League, and I think a lot of fans are happy to see him back there. He's shown himself to be a good manager, and I hope he keeps Crystal Palace up. I'm happy to have a good team come down to Ashton Gate, and to see how we fare against a team two divisions up from us, who were a few months ago in the same division. It'll be a good contrast of our positions in the league system, and a good way to see how far we've come against a team that has risen.
