Allen, Alberto and Aspas really impressed me. Allen looks rejuvenated - his quick, sharp passing is back and I admire the way he's always on the move once he releases the ball. Showed some smart footwork and skills as well. Alberto looks classy on the ball. Has the vision to play the 'Coutinho-esque' through balls but just lacks the extra bit of quality to pull it off. Having said that, some of his throughballs do come off and starts a quick attack. Really positive player. In addition, he likes to get into the box and took his goal brilliantly. Aspas is a livewire in the box - his movement is fantastic (see his goal as a perfect example). Needs to work on his finishing though but he gets into the right areas, drags defenders all over the place and looks like a predator in the box. The first half was very pleasing but still the same old case of not taking our chances. We should have been out of sight plus we conceded from a corner (shock!). Second half was very laid back IMO which was disappointing. Coutinho was slight subdued but still looked dangerous as ever when he was on the ball. Played a pivotal part in the 4th goal with a great run into the box. Quick shoutout to Ibe - I love his fearlessness. He's not afraid to take on defenders and drive into the box. Needs to work on his shooting and his output in general but at 17, he's got plenty of time to progress.
