For me, Ferguson and Krul will both be stars like Carroll; LuaLua, Sameobi, Kadar and Airey I can see being squad players if they all knuckle down; can't really comment on Vuckic (looks good from what I've seen though) and Inman; Ranger's **** and a waster. I think he'll drop out of football completely in a few years

Apparently he looked good for them, and they started going downhill after he left.

Then again, being a good defender in League 2 doesn't mean you'll be any good in the Prem.

    So yes, hype!

Must have been the sort of player who peaks early. Shame.

edit; according to my googling, he was unsettled here and is linked with Fulham. Lets hope he doesnt turn out good <wah>

Think you can add Donaldson to that list, he's looked pretty good when I've seen him. Got a good head on his shoulders and works tirelessly for the team.

When you think how many youth team players make it through to playing premier league football generally, having ANY that can step up is a good sign let alone 4 or 5

I really like Tavanier. Think he is already our best option at right back after Simpson. Kadar is ready to back up as 4th choice. Vuckic should be ready to play his part this year. Not convinced with Lua Lua but wouldn't give up yet. Beardo is really keen on Richardson. Haven't seen enough of Inman to comment. Ferguson is the jewel and class act. Blatantly a winger so I hope Pardew wakes up to smell the coffee cause I wouldn't want to see his career hampered in a Allardyce type way. Krul will be top class with time. I can't take two Ameobis, I just can't. I wasn't impressed by him but supposedly he's canny. Can't see it at this stage but early days. Ranger I like a lot but attitude needs sorted and his shooting is a disgrace. Saying that tall players, particularly tall strikers take longer to come to hand so patience is required. His hold up play is first class. Quick too. All in all I'm really happy to give the guys there chances when the need arises. Or if they are too good to hold back.

What's the name of the kid that wears the #4 jersey for the Youth Team? Looked like a good player when I saw him.

he's 19 and everytime i've seen him he's looked assured and in control good young un but being a CB might be a few years before we see him would be good to loan him out like we did to Tavernier in fact would love to see a few of these young uns loaned out to lge 1/2 clubs

Might not be the same player. The kid I saw not only seemed to have styled his play on Barton, he even looked like him.
