Any team in the world would take him, he is a quality player but man, his attitude absolutely sucks. Rodgers hasn't exactly handled this whole situation well either. These are his words from the other day:

“It's a story that can keep running but for me there is no new news. Luis is happy. He totally understands the club's point of view. He's in a difficult position in terms of not being able to play because of his suspension - he will sit out the first six games and he will miss playing football,”

And a couple days later, Suarez springs that surprise. Are these guys on different planets or what? What is actually going on at this club? What a mess.

Read his latest comments - they are very clear. I think he has handled it really well.

  4. You do realise that being able to read and understand basic English is an important attribute to have when using an internet forum don't you?

If I say "if roles were reversed" then that means if things were the opposite way around; ie Arsenal had just finished seventh and owned Luis Suarez with Liverpool finishing fourth and wanting Luis Suarez.

You responding by saying "What midtable side wouldn't take a world class player? Thats why i called bullshit."

As I said, basic English <doh>

PS...anyway, this is the Suarez thread, stay on topic <whistle>

I disagree, he keeps going on and on about it in the media, made a school boy error by claiming suarez was fine with the situation and understood when he clearly was not fine with the situation. Now it has all blown up in his face, it's almost that he is so desperate to try and show that he is not weak, but by going on and on about it, kind of goes the opposite way, he should have said he was staying then refused to talk about it anymore, as he claimed there was nothing to talk about as he was not going to be leaving. But constantly going on and on about it, and trying to get one up on arsenal with silly comments about liverpool being a bigger club. Big clubs do not need to remind people they are big clubs, everyone knows it without needing to be told it.

They are not clear at all, he's only succeeding in driving a rift between Suarez and everyone else by accusing him of lacking respect. Shoulda said nothing instead of mouthing off to the media. The more he talks the worse he makes it.

"Brenda isn't going to have that decision."

That's not good news for you. Tbh I could see Rodgers accepting a £50million bid. It's the owners you have to deal with and they are a lot more pissed off than Rodgers is. Apparently they've said they will never sell to you.

Once they realise they stand to make a lot of money, they'll have a change of heart. They're businessmen after all.

Up until Gerrard's testimonial Suarez hadn't started his 'disrespectful' dirty tricks openly and Rodgers kept what went on behind the scenes in house which kept the fans tolerant of Suarez, but the buck toothed twat has now been outed for the snake he really is.

I hope Rodgers/FSG keep their stance and hold him to his binding contract or if Arsenal or whoever else wants him pays LFC's valuation.

So what are they going to do? Nobody else seems to be interested in him at the moment, and keeping him would surely do more damage than good after everything Suarez has said and done this week.

I would be amazed if he is still a Liverpool player next season, that's just my opinion though. Already pushed the boat out too far, no going back.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the Managers Meeting tomorrow and watch Rodgers maintain his dignified silence with a grin on his face whilst Wenger squirms and tries to test the water as to the general attitude towards him and his club.

No worries, I was thinking the opening bid should be a horse's head in Brendan Rodgers pit <whistle>

What a joke. Rodgers has been neither dignified nor silent throughout this whole traumatic affair. Not sure where you got that from.
