Wenger said the same thing with RVP, Fab, Nasri... Means little really. You can't expect Rodgers to come out and appear weak, by saying, we will give in, we will sell the player, etc. He has to appear strong. That's my take on it anyway. Things are happening behind the scenes that we, the media and fans know nothing about. Just disappointed with the way this whole thing has been handled.

 

Rodgers has come across as a total bellend through the course of this saga. We were not exactly thrilled when RVP went public last summer but to his credit, Wenger never made a public statement slagging him off. And Rodgers has the audacity to question Arsenal's class? The question is, would Liverpool refuse to sell to us purely out of spite?

As I said when the news broke last night; it signals the beginning of the end for Suarez at Liverpool but we don't know were the start of the new beginning will be still. The odds on favourite is Arsenal ATM but time will see.

 

They would, I've realised over these past days that Liverpool are an emotionally driven club, and they make decisions based on emotion, not rational thinking. I have seen it in all their deals over the past years. Why else do you think they have a manager who talks in riddles? Makes no sense.

 

The best, and the only way. Suarez had better be careful however. If this saga continues on for much longer, Arsenal will start having second thoughts. Then he will be forced to stay at Liverpool and given his recent comments that will be a disaster for him, in an already inflamed situation.

I don't blame Rodgers for trying to hold onto his best player, **** knows we've been there before, but his comment about classlessness has come right round to bite him on the arse.

Will Liverpool sell him to us ? At the end of the day, Brenda isn't going to have that decision. If it goes to the last day of the window as things stand, then there is a 40m bid on the table for a want-away player and their owners will sell him.

But... This deal does depend on whether another club make a bid. I think Suarez would choose Real over us if the choice were there, but it isn't because they are after Bale. Also Chelsea are in for Rooney and there is a similar situation brewing between those clubs too.

But what does Brenda do ? He's said he doesn't want to sell to a 'rival' - trying to allude to Arsenal. So he's not going to sell to Chelsea either, even if they put up similar bid.

It looks like we're in pole position to sign Suarez but Iit might come down to Arsenal and Chelsea battling between either Rooney or Suarez ???
