What do Liverpool supporters do when they have won the Premier League? Turn their ps3 off and go upstairs and give there sister one!..
He is content being the 4th striker, his twitter is always positive even though he knows he may not even be in the squad. Im glad he's got another contract, he's always likely to pop up witha goal.
You would think that between Owen and Scholes, it would have been Scholes who got another contract. Still, money is tight. And Owen prefers to be paid for not playing ...
So off the topic of the aforementioned deluded moron an back to Owen. Yes i am satisfied with him and i think we will not be able to find a better striker who will not be upset that they fall below Rooney/ Hernandez. I actually hope he gets more games next year beacuse i feel he is underated. On a side note did anyone else see this on his twitter Wonder who that was a dig at Liverpool (18 league titles, 5 European cups), Real Madrid (31 la liga titles, 9 european cups)... or Newcastle
If a striker of Owens quality is happy to be forth choice, and only get paid if he plays what is there to debate?
Owen has never played every game for any team, or anything like that. He's always been dogged by injuries or in need of rest and relaxation.
Owen, if given a run of games is still a quality striker, the last few appreances he has shown he is still very sharp and can finish like that goal vs blackpool.
