I've lost all caring about the Suarez thing anyway, if it gets the scousers to back off us and let us go about our business as normal (bitching, infighting, insulting the accountant), then any result is a good result.

 

It makes no difference to us, 40 million is all we will pay, take it or leave it, either way you have a player that's going to cause trouble, we will just move on to someone else.

 

We've already left it, by rejecting it.

 

Yet things have only gotten worse since you rejected it, its your club that will suffer most in this, not ours

 

With or without Suarez, one thing is certain; We will finish above you (Liverpool) again (as always). If the best you can manage with Suarez is 7th, then i'd love to see where you end up without him.

Lol, I like how some Liverpool fans are acting cocky, hey ****wits, you're not going to hold us to ransom to make us pay more than we have to, don't act cocky you stupid bastards, if you keep Suarez, you're only going to keep a player who doesn't want to be there, who said he doesn't want to be there, who plans to take legal action against you, and this basically has burned all bridges he has with your club, from the other players, to the management, and most importantly, to you dumb thick headed ****y Liverpool fans.

So by all means, if you want to keep such a player, then go ahead, no matter what happens, you've already lost Suarez, whether he stays, or goes. Oh, not to mention you will also lose out on good money, because you can bet your scouser asses, that you won't even be getting a minimum of 40 million for him if you so choose to sell him next season.

Its been leaked, gordon taylor has said the clause it not a cast iron release clause, TBH most of us thought that anyway, doesn't really change much, in fact after suarez accusing rodgers of lying, they will look pretty weak if the dont sell him as he has basically shat all over the club.

 

I want to sign players, but Liverpool's stubborn arrogance just makes me want Wenger to tell Liverpool to **** right on off and keep Suarez, because that in itself will be a big problem for these dumb imbecile ****S with everything Suarez has just done.

I'd be happy if we got the deal done for 47.5m. It would mean we have come up on what we want to pay but that shows us going the extra mile to get players when previously we have been seen to miss out due to not spending the extra few million. It also means Liverpool won't have got the £50m they wanted which would be nice!

I think we will need a transfer request + a £50M bid if we want Suarez at the Emirates this season. With the clause situation clear, I hope we don't spend anymore time sitting around doing nothing. It is time for Arsenal to act and put their money where their mouth is. I want Suarez available for our CL qualifiers, there is no more reason to stall on him.

 

Don't know if I would be happy at paying 50 million for him, I don't think he is worth more than 30 - 35 but was prepared to accept paying 40. Problem is there is not that much left in the way of strikers, but if we went to some clubs outside the top tier with 40 million, most would find it difficult to turn down. My knowledge of European football is not great, i used to watch a lot of it 10 years ago so don't know who would be worth buying.

 

The clause requires them to sit down and negotiate from 40m as a starting point and have serious discussions. It doesn't require them to sell but that doesn't mean it won't be some kind of leverage in negotiations.
