Guns against bottles and bricks Grown men against Kids! What disrespect not wearing a poppy that's freedom of choice which is what those in both wars died for.

The hatred towards Jimmy Mac being were he's from and not wearing a poppy is bigoted in my eyes those thousands who gave their lives did for freedom of expression.

I never said I hated the tosser scoffed at him for not wearing a poppy or mentioned where he is from .
Its easy to get on the high ground but I think you may want to reread my post before calling me a biggot and get your facts right
You have failed in trying to turn me in to something I am not . But I will forgive you <nahnah>

To me the likes of McClean make my flesh crawl. He doesn't mind picking up a huge pay check every month in our free land but he refuses when asked to wear a poppy for the people who paid the ultimate sacrifice so he has those freedoms???
If he feels so strongly about what happened in his home land (and there was good and bad on both sides) why is he bloody living here?

Personally when i Rome do as the Romans do. This is an English club in England so if the club asks you to wear a poppy to commemorate the dead from the Commonwealth you do so. End of.... As Cyprus says no problems picking up his payslip. Be glad when he is gone, I would then as the club donate part of the transfer fee to Royal Legion and other soldier charities that would benefit.

Obviously PDC has seen that JM never be a premier league player as long as his arse points downwards. I agree. Good riddance.

I always thought mclean had massive potential and thought he could have been great... until he refused to wear the poppy after that his name could have been messi and id be happy to see the back of him. I was always brought up to be respectful and having lost family and friends in the armed forces overseas his stance on that disgusted me. Yes everybody has a right to their own opinion but the way he handled that made me sick to my stomach. Good riddance to the mug I hope he bums big style.

Whilst HE never lost ant family and friends on a certain Sunday? Do you know where he was brought up? Come on there's two sides to this story. I too have lost family in conflicts and in the cause of free speech and ALWAYS bought several poppies. Now I won't just to demonstrate that I won't be cowed by your type and their dictatorial edicts.

Bobgee..I'm flummoxed. To think you would stop buying Poppy's over a comment from some unknown on the internet?
    Staggering!!!

Sorry to offend and im more than well aware thats theres two and often more sides to a story but highlight the right phrase.. be respectful. He didn't even have to buy a poppy ffs.. and the poppy stands for events that happened way before a 'certain Sunday'. Just out of curiousity were you there on a certain sunday?
