Aspas could be more clinical but again looks threatening. Alberto certainly has the vision, Ibe running the left side riot.
Really? I think Ibe (10 years his junior) is showing him up. And DOwnings shots have been awful. QUite frankly it would take a lot for me to start liking him, his face annoys me

Tell which players fit Rodger's vision you can. Allen, Alberto, Ibe - not top quality, but smart, quick players. Spearing, Flanagan, Coates - slow, ponderous, lacking technique.
Pretty good stuff from what is pretty much a second string side,esp makeshift defence. Wisdom looks very comfortable at centre half wish Coates did! We should really be 4 or 5 up but their keeper has played a blinder and we have been our usual wasteful self. I often wonder what we could do if we had clinical finishers. Anyway, playing nice stuff,very threatening and their goal came completely out of the blue.
Obviously spent too much time with Carroll. Other good reason he left: can't have them all looking like an episode of shameless!
