Aye, I've indulged in a bit of everything before and it's maybe only the last year or two I've begun to settle on a (leftish) version of classical liberalism. I (think I) believe in a state and believe that like a football match you need a good referee between people, but a good referee lets the play flow and doesn't get himself involved unless someone is being unfair to another person. What we have now is a system where either the left or the right elect their own referee and that referee goes about bestowing state privileges to the team it favours.
