Funny, but true. Starting to feel he isn't worth the effort.

He is making it so much worse with himself coming out with what he has been saying. Should he still be in England this season, it will be a nightmare for him.

Can we start getting our ex players to slag off Liverpool? The only ex player to really speak on the matter so far is Wrighty, and he defended Liverpool.

    Damn it, we're too classy.

    Seems pretty unlikely though, eh?

... with the team which achieved 11 points more than Liverpool last term, plus a 30+ goals per season striker.

I don't get the argument that a move to Arsenal would be such a mistake when Liverpool would be losing their (arguably) best player and Arsenal - who have finished far above Liverpool in recent years - would be significantly stronger.

Just saying as well that if it can be proven, a verbal agreement is just a strong as any in court. I guess the only way it wouldn't be proven is if Liverpool go into court and lie. They wouldn't do that though, they're the classiest club in the country.<ok>

It's true, I used to like Liverpool but the complete lack of class from the Club and fans in recent weeks has changed my opinion.

Not just our former players though is it. Ian Wright couldn't find the sense in it.

    Jamie Redknapp on Suarez:

Torres got richer and got to play in - and win - the UCL. Didn't work out too shabbily for him in the end.

Ian Wright has always been an idiot. Legend on the field, disgrace off it.

    Liverpool desperate..... ;)

Their logic is flawed as they paid 35 million for Andy Carroll so by rights next time they bid for a striker, the selling club can say '' he's triple the player Carroll is, we expect 105 million ''.

What Rodgers and Liverpool need to understand is that Bale is Madrids number 1 target, only they will break the world record, if they don't bid then no one else will, so Madrid aren't setting bales market value and saying '' from now on any player that looks as good as bale must be worth 100 million. ''

Suarez is a fab player but simply no one will pay more then his clause (minus the quid), as apparently Liverpool put that clause in, they have to take blame for creating this mess.

no, he really isn't, we would never refer to ourselves as "mid-table", we are "upper-mid-table" <whistle>, and why would his value drop? Suarez will sulk during his 6 game ban and then get on with life. He still needs to impress suitors.
