Beggars can't be choosers. We haven't bought a World Class player in ages so any one, including potential problem childs, would improve our squad greatly.

 

It's the BIG IF isn't it. IF we buy the players, then we have the chance to win it. But realistically, we are atleast 3 top signings away from competing with the other 3.

 

It is a BIG 'IF' but there has to be a reason we cleared out soo many squad players. The signs look fairly promising.


I would say 2 big signings are essential.(CF and DM) Another GK would be useful too though.

Also surely Carzorla is a World Class player? - we bought him only a year ago.

Reasons to be optimistic.

1.We have an established back four for the first time in years and good back-up players. (Second best in the league last year and is improving)
2.Wilshere should finally get back to full fitness.
3.Chamberlain, Walcott, Jenkinson, Gibbs and Sczezney are all a year older.
4.Podolski,Carzorla and Giroud have now adapted to the EPL.


Add Suarez/Rooney and a Bender/Gundogan/Fellaini/Gustavo and we are in business.

Big fan of Cazorla and he is close to World Class, but we will see how good he is this coming season. i think we need a CB, as I don't trust Vermaelen can last most of the season ad we need cover. Apart from Walcott, we will see how the other players (3) have progressed since last season, as none of them are really nailed on first teamers in my book. Cazorla will be out main player no doubt, and we will see if Giroud gets to the next level this coming season.

But agreed, if we get the players outlined in your post, then we would be a lot better and stronger.

By the way, you forgot about Gervinho's replacement, we need that too.

I don't want Suarez now, i think it would annoy the Liverpool fans more if he stayed there.
