    Can hit 90mph when he wants to. But yes, ordinarily not an ideal candidate to be bowling your last over.

    Oh my mistake. I thought he was more of a batsman than a bowler but he seems to be a genuine allrounder.

    I've said in for at least two years, and I still believe it. Stokes will be our next Flintoff/Botham, at some point. He's even keen on the odd drink.

    I was desperately trying to get the gag. Didn't realise this was a literal statement! How amusing. Maybe he's been told to "man up" (I appreciate that that phrase is now considered offensive on Merseyside) to boost his selection chances.

    It's an amazingly stupid accusation when hot spot showed he got the thinnest of nicks in the first innings on the lbw (and wrongly given out on field and on review).

    Have been a fan of Monty's, but this is disgusting and deeply insulting. Never mind the fine, I hope he has gone back to the club and apologised personally to the people concerned.

    Pietersen makes a good point...if you put tape on to block hotspot, you could be given out lbw when you've nicked it. There should be an investigation by the tech guys to see if some particular products should be banned, but it is insulting to suggest any player has done it deliberately.
