Apparently Anzhi's owner has gotten bored. He's Sacked the new manager, Meulensteen, after just 16 days and is rumoured to have put most of their squad up for sale. Would be worth a look surely?

We are after a powerful striker - how about Lacina Traore? You can't get much more beast than that.

Oh, wouldn't you just fcking love it!!

Traore's wages over there will be a problem. Also always thought opinion on Lacina Traore was pretty low.

Funny, with all the focus on Suarez/Bale/Rooney/Wenger, the press just aren't even interested in inventing NUFC rumours now. They can't even moan about us not bringing a player in so I think info like this is the best we've got til 2nd September! You know much about Traore? Transfermarkt has him down as being £15m?!

One other thing I have heard is that Moussa Sow wants to leave Turkey - always liked him, not sure he's different enough for what we seem to need?

I know big things are expected of him and that he can have a skill with the ball that mocks his giant frame. Howwever, i havent watched him for a full match asaide from a europa group game and also he's in the russian league. Wwhen you consider he'll go for higher than 15m its a massive risk. Hence why wwe'll never get him.
Well it's funny this season, we aren't going for relative unknowns to a stamdard english fan so perhaps it's been harder for the press to add 2 and 2 to make 5
I always though of sow as a more clinical cisse really.

How about another one with to consider with his contract having just one year to run - Marko Arnautovic. 6'3" player, decent record, already been subject to several rumours....

A little wide of the mark there.

Roman Abramovich has been at Chelsea for a very long time and sunk a massive amount of money in. He's in it for the long-haul.

Manchester City are developing the entire area surrounding the Etihad (which is going to be extended to over 60,000 capacity shortly) They are in it for the long-haul.

If you're talking about the chance of an owner selling-up, well that's always there... we can still live in hope! <whistle>

Nothing to do with us due to the money but I'd be really interested in what Eto'o does now... most of the top clubs have already splashed their cash and he isn't getting any younger...

I've a couple of threads on Lacini Traore. I'd have him in a heart beat.

And a complete pain in the rear area. Biggest tosser in the Bundesliga by a country mile. Please do consider him, it will look like Geordie Shore is filming at the club. <whistle>
