Don't go being a twat and posting stuff like this please unless it is the actual truth. I don't mean to sound mean, but don't post that sort of stuff without proof, man! You could give someone heart failure!
Don't be a twat. Even if it is Aluko, he played today so there is absolutely no way a diagnosis of him being out for the season would be made this early.
It isn't Aluko, it's Quinn. Buckingham said that he may miss the first few weeks of the season due to a hamstring injury.
I can understand why papers would user teasers for transfer news and stuff like that, but don't do it for a ****ing injury. Just say what's happened and don't treat fans like ****s waiting to hear the unfortunate ending of some ****ing soap plot or something. Pissed me off this.
Confirmed as Quinn http://www.thisishullandeastriding....tory-19624808-detail/story.html#axzz2bFhtf69Q
Might have read your reaction wrong with the smilie, but why are you happy that one of our best players is injured?! Quinn is a vital part of the squad and a fantastic player. It also means that, having let Cairney and Evans go, we now badly need a couple of midfielders.
He's clearly happy it isn't Aluko I'd be guessing. While Quinn is important and we are light in midfield, Aluko is pretty much irreplaceable.
Noooo Sorry guys you did read it wrong ... My fault though but I always put the cheers thingy at the bottom off all my posts even on the old BBCnot606 site... Silly habit I know. Quinn is indeed a vital part of our squad and one of the first on the team sheet. Hope this clears this up for ya.
This is bad news, he certainly has had a good pre-season and let's hope it is not as bad as first feared.
I think with our current squad losing Quinn is more of a concern. Our only midfielders are; Quinn, Koren, Meyler, Stewart, Brady and Elmo. Stewart won't be involved so without Quinn we only have 4 midfielders and no cover, our only option is to play people out of position. At least if it was Aluko there's cover (Boyd, Graham, Sagbo). People talk about Aluko being the star man and he might be, but without a decent midfield we could have Messi up front and we'd still get spanked every week!
Concerned that any of the squad are injured at this stage, now we will be forced to spend more and get someone in quick. But they need to be as fit as the rest of our squad and that could be a problem.
