1500 away fans on a Tuesday evening can't be bad. How many Wycombe fans?

Listening to 3CR tonight, they said that Wycombe were playing an exciting brand of football tonight and you matched the Foxes. Really unlucky to lose at the last gasp, but sometimes it is the way you play that will help in the coming months that matters. Good luck. <ok>

    Leicester fan in peace.
Just got back from the game, have to say if you play like that for the rest of the season you will walk the league. I think for the majority of the game you out played us, and in all honesty did not deserve to lose like that. Your goal was an absolute cracker. You ha e a nice little ground cheap but good beer and food and friendly staff and stewards too plus the scenery is fantastic. Best of the luck for the rest of the season.

By all reports we played well and should have at least taken the game into extra time and with Gaz getting the best out of Spring and now Kuffour and with some excellent youngsters all bodes well for the new season I'm not even disapointed by the size of the crowd just over 2k on a Tuesday night during holiday month isn't too bad for us :emoticon-0103-cool:

I moved down to Wycombe about two years ago and have been coming to most home games since then and thats the best I've seen them play.

Notably the fact that they were passing the ball out of defense and along the back 4.

Not sure the 4-3-3 would work going forward though.

Thoroughly gutted by the late goal and not sure how they managed to get that penalty, but it was expected they'd win anyway. It would just have been nice if they'd deserved it.

Hello Wheeli two years ! glad you persevered you had to watch a lot of dross during that time but things are looking up now as for the4-3-3 we have 3 good central mid players and G A wanted to stifle them through the middle (didn't think 6 months ago I'd put good and Spring in the same sentance<whistle>

To be honest, from what I've seen of Spring over the last year he's turned into something of a midfield general. The team seem to play better when he's in the centre passing the ball around. Though it is good he's not taking corners anymore.

One win and taking a Championship outfit to stoppage time in the first four days of the season is not a bad start is it? And it sounds like we have a few options for change in the squad.
Hope we can carry that on at Wimbledon.
