He probably has several options of how to proceed and his people have been deciding how to move forwards.

He has obviously been in contact with the PFA in that time and looked into the options of handing in a transfer request, going to the premier league to settle the dispute and then any other legal action he could take. Plus who knows how many different things they thought of. I'd imagine this interview was one of the things in the pipeline as well.

Just because he didn't immedietly throw all his cards on the table doesn't mean he won't still pursue different means to attain his move to Arsenal.

 

With a better team around him, he could have scored 40+

This also proves my point that brendan rodgers is out of his depth, and has been blatantly lying to anyone who will listen, claiming suarez understood the situation and accepted it, well brendan clearly he does not accept it you clown.

No joke. LFC stood by him for selfish reasons, not because he is/was part of the LFC family or somesuch bollox.

To be fair, If I was manager I would have stood by him too.

 

What i think is different here is that other big clubs have already spent very heavily this transfer window and are now not in a position to lay out another £40m. Or other clubs have different targets they are pursuing. On top of this he obviously wants to play in England and play in the CL and only a few clubs can offer that.

I feel like it will come down to whether the clause can be agreed upon and if not, whether we will pay slightly more if it comes down to it. I finally feel like we have the money and we are the club in the best position to get the player we want.
