Apparently he isn't 'adored' by Madrid fans, how's he going to react if Bale signs and captures their hearts.... Throw a strop. You have a point
Which brings one of the main points '' can they play together '. Similar to F1, when you get two great drivers who both want to be number s 1 and can't work together for the team.
Madrid's increasingly desperate and ridiculous pursuit of Bale (£105M ) suggests Ronnie must be on his way back to OT.
Slightly different - Barca don't have to worry about their players being tapped up us none of their players could have any reason to want to leave.
True but tapping up is often dramatised as clubs have a right to be interested in other players and if a player is interested he will go, if he isn't he will stay, so if bale does leave it won't have anything to do with being tapped up, unless you want a reason to hate the Spanish giant's.
I don't know about that. Currently Madrid's tapping is all media driven. Every week they have kept this story alive through transparent Marca articles and staff interviews with the press. I can't believe that all this constant media attention isn't getting to Bale in some way, very few people have to deal with up to 10 news stories about them EVERY day for a period of 3 months. Politicians, celebrities, criminals - none of them get subjected to anywhere near this level of attention when they're in the news (even though in their cases there is actually news to report), it's savage. It's bound to affect his mindset and his ability to think with any clarity about what he wants, so of course it influences the decision on whether he wants to stay or go.
Not at all - Factitious Madrid like to stockpile players, hence they signed Isco despite having Ozil.
I see it slightly different as Bale is fully aware of what Madrid can offer and the players he will be playing with, so in reality his mind will be decided once he's aware of Madrids interest and if that was an unofficial leak or official bid, the players reaction will still be the same. All the tapping up does is keep the interest publicly known, but the tapping up only starts if they know the player is interested so while I get your annoyance with how they act, it's just all game playing and imo doesn't make much difference after the initial interest.
Not for me - let's say he decided that he was staying with us at the beginning of the summer when he first learned of RM interest. If RM's pursuit of him stopped there then it would be the end of the matter. But the longer this saga of media ****storm and tapping up goes on, the more chance there is of him changing his mind.
haha I only argue if on my laptop but right now I'm using a FonePad and it's some weird cross between a phone and a tablet so I'm about to smash it up as this website is criminally slow on anything other then a laptop. but I'll come back for you
Big difference is we don't deny our club has been unscrupulous in the past. We're just amateurs, Man U are the masters of tapping up players in England and always have been.
