Pompey Ladies team are looking for sponsors - PCFC budget doesn't cover the ladies team, so it looks as though the 12th Man will be trying to help out.

Portsmouth Ladies are looking for sponsors for their players for this season. It costs just £150 for the season and the money will help cover travel, match officials (which I never realised clubs have to pay for, no wonder referees are so often homers) and other costs, and considering how precarious the financial situation is for the club, it'll be greatly appreciated. In return, you'll get your name (or your company name) in each match day programme!

If you are not interested/able to sponsor a player, please share this information with anyone who might be interested/able. If you're interested, PM me (though I may have to clear my inbox) or private message the Facebook page and I'll send you the details of who to contact (they've asked specifically not to put their details in the public domain).

They are not cheap either, particularly when they have to travel a long way like in the Women's PL, clubs pay mileage expenses which adds up very quickly.

Well, it is a good cause, and as it happens I own a few businesses which could do with the exposure of some advertising. With the name of the companies proudly displayed, perhaps it's worth spending some of my children's inheritance.

My local tourism consultancy, "You're Welcome To Portsmouth" would be an obvious one.
My local artisan furniture design house "Deckchairs Rock" might be another.
Lastly my chain of traditional barbers, "Red and White Forever", would find £150 a snip!
    Where do I apply?

£150 seems a small price to pay to become a real sugar daddy <party>

Maybe we should form a syndicate and sponsor a player under the name The Not606 Pompey Board.... The question is, who to sponsor?!

I wish I could be invited down to training :(

(Training's on a Thursday, hence why I knew he was at training). Technically they've spoken about me coming down, but it's nothing official and so far is just talk.

The goalie's excellent, so I'd recommend her. I don't particularly fancy any of the players tbh.

Seriously though, if there is any interest in a syndicate, we could form a PayPall account then put in an amount each and then pay for sponsorship. For six members, it's only £25 each... 10 members and it's £15 each, etc.

Sweet, so if everyone you mentioned got involved that would reduce the price to just over £10 each (there's also Pompey Raichu but he rarely posts). Come on people, let's do this!
