.....is the new voice of the BBC Radio Football Results, replacing James Alexander Gordon. What a voice!
Lets hope she can hold it together...
Not necessarily, under different circumstances there certainly hasn't been a case of PCGM, for example when they appointed that god awful commentator on MOTD. However Charlotte Green is actually good so fully warrants the position. Call a spade a spade.
Charlotte Green is an experienced newsreader, continuity announcer and broadcaster in terms of the panel games etc. She has a fantastic voice and will be marvellous. In a few months it will sound odd if she doesn't read the scores.
Not really Alderley, she has the oddest haircuts. I met her at BBC function a few years back and let's put this way on a scale of 1 to 10 of Miff's offering's (10 being the highest) she would score a minus I suspect with most folks on here. (see link) However, she is a really lovely person and her deep rich voice - which makes Stan go all wobbly, turns into a more girly giggly coquettish voice when you chat with her 'off air' so to speak. (Stan put it away...) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-548011/BBC-switchboard-meltdown-Radio-4-newsreader-fit-giggles.html EDIT: I should add (not that it is important really) that she is better looking face to face than her photographs suggest. I can also confirm that she is a football fan.
James Alexander Gordon wasn't a football fan but as we know Charlotte is. As much as I can't bear Arsenal, I would love them to do Spurs 6-0 just for the pleasure of hearing her read that out...
