    Would this be a loss?

For me, if Celtic can get what they paid for him, then they should take it...

Nah, we should get at least double or even triple what we paid for him.

We paid the SPL price for him. They can pay EPL prices.

I'd sell, IF lennon gets all the money from his and Wilsons sale to buy 2 centre halves. In addition to any money he would be getting to spend on strikers

I can't see it being true. Selling two defenders at this time of the season would be well risky, even if one of them is Ambrose.

i would have said he can go, but now it looks like wilson is going i am not so sure getting rid of the whole spine of the team from last year is a great idea. if he concentrates on doing the basics he is an ok defender. when he thinks he is a footballer he is a nightmare

Remember the last time we let Tony the Chin punt all our center halves?

    This <ok>

We haven't seen Van Dijk yet - if we punt Ambrose and Wilson our centre half pairing will be made out of Van Dijk, Mulgrew and AN Other.

I like big Ambrose anyway and we've surely sold enough folk as it is - how likely we are to get a central defender as flexible as big Efe is debatable but I don't see it working.

When was the last time we had a CB who wasn't a bit of a bomb-scare? Joos/Johan ten years ago?

Errrrm.....even then big Dolf was playing deep mid at times. It was Big Bobo Bombscare alongside Joos most of the time.

That stupid step inside he does will get him robbed, the attacker will steal the ball, there will be nobody behind him, big Fraser will come out, the attacker will square it to a team mate and we'll be one zero down after 6 minutes facing a mountain to come back against Boris Rubinzohf of the Ukraniussian top flight...faqt.

Stubbs and Reiper as well. That was a class defence.

I like big Ambrose, can be a bomb scare but I like him anyway even though I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time shouting for ****'s sake Effe when he plays.

We can't sell him now if we are losing Kelvin Wilson - who I think is making a big mistake going back to work with Billy Davies.
