    Poor translation but:

Not only buying: diesse Bigon it is now up to the task, not just because of the salary, to prune the rose: the first to go will be Walter Gargano. According to reports from today's edition of The Morning, the median is also the Uruguayan Sunderland (there was also talk of Atletico Madrid and Fulham). This time the Naples transfers it just outright or with the compulsory redemption. Not part of the plans and Benitez is ready, therefore, to leave the blue permanently.

But if we sell Catts then he needs to be replaced. If cabral gets injured then there's no DM, that happened last season and nearly sent us down.

As long as we've the big lads at the back and Cabral I'm not too concerned if we go the way of lightweights going forward. Means we're not playing on the ground and not in the air which will work well methinks.

derland Gargano in Black Cats link Sunderland, Last updated: August 05, 2013 11:50 AM Views: 270 Napoli midfielder Walter Gargano is reportedly Sunderland boss Paolo Di Canio's latest transfer target as he continues to rebuild. Di Canio has signed a raft of new players this summer but still wants to land at least a couple more with a midfielder in the mould of Gargano, and a couple of full-backs on his wishlist. He had been linked with Tottenham's Tom Huddlestone and Inter Milan's Alfred Duncan but neither deal materialised and now, according to the latest reports, Gargano is the top target. The Uruguay international was left out of the Napoli squad for this weekend's Emirates Cup in London amid suggestions new boss Rafa Benitez is looking to offload him. The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Inter Milan and his future remains unclear after so far failing to sort out a permanent move to the San Siro. Inter star Zdravko Kuzmanovic has also been mentioned as a possible target but it is thought Di Canio's interest in the Serbia international has cooled over the past few days. alter Gargano

NAPOLI midfielder Walter Gargano is the latest candidate to be mooted as the solution to Paolo Di Canio’s search for a creative playmaker.

As revealed last month, Di Canio is eager to add a midfield linchpin, as well as two full-backs, to Sunderland’s squad before the transfer window slams shut four weeks today.

But Sunderland have hit dead ends in their pursuit of a creative player so far this summer after being unable to agree terms over moves for Tottenham’s Tom Huddlestone and Inter Milan’s Alfred Duncan.

Reports in Italy have suggested Sunderland have expressed an interest in Uruguay international Gargano, with the midfielder left out of the Napoli squad for this weekend’s Emirates Cup.

The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Inter Milan, yet a permanent move to the San Siro didn’t materialise in the summer and he returned to Napoli, where former Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has taken charge.

Inter Milan’s Serbian international Zdravko Kuzmanovic continues to be linked with Sunderland too, despite sources close to the 25-year-old playing down the chances of him moving to the Stadium of Light.

Hull City are also on the look-out for fresh recruits in midfield, with Jack Colback reported as a target for the newly-promoted Tigers over the weekend.

Colback’s situation on Wearside remains unresolved after rejecting a new contract with the Black Cats, and as reported last week, head coach Di Canio wants the 23-year-old to make a decision on his future.

Hull’s former Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has harboured a genuine interest in Colback ever since the Tynesider’s contract situation became public last month, with only 12 months to run on his current deal.

Bruce wants two new midfielders to boost Hull’s squad for their return to the Premier League.

But Sunderland are not looking to part company with Colback and remain hopeful that he will agree to improved terms at the Stadium of Light.

SUNDERLAND SHOP IN ITALY FOR NEW MIDFIELDER
    Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Mon, 08/05/2013 - 10:15
Sunderland are shopping in Italy to boost their midfield stocks.

The Journal says Inter Milan’s Zdravko Kuzmanovic and Napoli’s Walter Gargano – on loan at Inter last season, and left out of Napoli’s Emirates Cup squad at the weekend – are the latest to be linked.

Both are known to chief scout Valentino Angeloni, previously at Inter.
