The GB Are No Happy

If the GB just stuck to singing songs (not about the IRA) and stopped acting like they're some sort of politicised movement being persecuted for their beliefs then everyone would be happy.

Too many of them have too high an opinion on themselves.

It's just football.

 

But having banners, drums and bangers makes them better fans ST. It has elevated them to a Privileged Class whereby banging some drums and having done a banner means they deserve to be given leniency where others would not be shown it.

At Celtic Park, in my experience, some reports of the Green Brigade’s “persistent pro-IRA chanting” are grossly exaggerated. For example, on two recent visits to Celtic’s ground I’ve heard not a whit in this direction.

So, in other words, they do. You'll note at no point in the post you referenced did I claim that they sang or chanted consistently about the IRA but the fact that you made reference to it suggests that they do, albeit infrequently, and that is just another example of them acting like arseholes and not respecting the wishes of the club.
