Park loaned to PSV

Come on Watford he isn't useless. In the Championship he could like Barton, do a good job running at defences and harrying on the wing. Its a long season and we will need depth.

If he dug his heels in then he should train with the under 21's - Park seems to me to be an honourable sort of bloke, I'm sure if we said its a sale or you stay or you can leave now on a free/no payoff he would have taken one of the options possibly the latter. Its weak to pay £500k to a bloke who remember, will never play for us again?

 

Let's hope this isn't true. Unless he's got his sharpness back again and we could use him, which seems unlikely, he should have his contract terminated one way or the other.

 

probably some complicated business reason for this..TF was marketing the Park brand in Asia and especially Korea.. I suspect we got our money back off the field so maybe we have to keep him registered as a QPR player or we will have to refund them the dosh... Rosie47 probably got a few crates of Pedigree Chum as an add on..

 

I think he genuinely is useless. Without his famous engine what is he? Barton, at his best, can pass, tackle and lead a team. When Park has it I'm happy to just see him not lose it. Sutherland and others offer more than that.

This is a quote someone tweeted and has been posted on the bbc website.....it sums up the situation quite succinctly.....

 

It could be, 500k loan fee paid to us, we subsidise his wages for 500k.

They sign him on a loan, Park gets his full wages, they keep their wage structure and we essentially release him on a free without losing a penny.

Was a great player but just didn't work for us.
I really think that TF deserves credit for slowly but surely weeding out the under performers. Adels the only regret I have. Just wish he had of worked out.

 

So the only reason he didn't want a permament move was that he would not get the ridiculous salary that we were paying him and wanted us to make us the shortfall even though he has no desire to play for us. What a C**T.

Park is probably the worst player to ever wear the hoops. I was laughing so hard at times with my mate in the stands last season watching him running around like a headless chicken with a floppy haircut. Good times

 

As Johnny Giles would say, the word great is overused in the modern day.

 

Agree with Watford. As long as Park isnt playing for us im happy. He is useless.
