His latest article entitled 'PREMIER LEAGUE TRANSFERS â THE BEST & WORST' is concluded with: "Every penny spent by Hull George Boyd, Maynor Figueroa , Curtis Davies, Ahmed Elmohamady, Allan McGregor, Steve Harper, Danny Graham. Now, some of those might turn out to be perfectly decent buysâ¦butâ¦well, as a whole, theyâre just really so very dull. The unkind might say that was appropriate for Hull â I could not possibly comment." Now I know this is bound to be intended to just piss us off because of the reception he got to the last article where he slagged us off, so we should probably just ignore it but it's a slow news day and I was surprised I couldn't see anyone else having posted it. It's up there with the worst football articles I've ever read, and I don't just say that because he has a pop at us, Kolo Toure as one of the 5 best signings this window? I wouldn't put Jovetic in either given his £22 million price-tag. As for the 5 worst; Kone, Schurrle, Mannone and everyone we've signed? I can think of many far worse recruits, I wouldn't put any of the aforementioned anywhere near the worst signings of the window. What a **** I mean, our signings are a bit uninspiring from a neutral point of view I understand that, but it doesn't excuse the ****itude.
He's a cock. Surprised nobody has commented yet? Figueroa was one of the best left backs in the PL last season, I'm sure someone put the opta stats up. He's well balanced, at least he has a chip on both shoulders!
The main flaw is all he says is that they're 'dull', not that they're bad players. Which is incredibly stupid given the article is supposed to be the best and worst signings, not the most exciting and most dull signings. He even went on to say he would exclude Sagbo as he was a little bit interesting. I don't mind people slagging us off but surely they can do it better than this.
