I don't quite get this bit at the end. The guy claims firstly that he would lose out big time if it was discovered he was leaking info, then he goes on to say he had a meeting last night with people in Bales's camp? If this guy is for real, he's clearly not very bright. Given the info he's provided, i don't think you would have to get out your magnifying glass and deerstalker to suss him out...
I assume he's trying to say that he's got more to say but can't say it, and the 'more to say' comes as a result of this meeting with Bale's camp. Presumably he can say he's spoke to people but not what was spoken about.
Go ahead, i'm a 12yr old (mentally) that gets unlimited access to a computer Maybe the meeting last night had like 100 people in it. So he's safe. In seriousness, it is dodge.
cheers I knew you'd have your say. you're an absolute WUM, Boss.. but only towards me! to be honest, most of the stuff i still post is probably bullshit. In fairness to twitter, it's actually getting a bit better. if you ignore the links to stories from the tabloids, there's not actually that much bullshit where you think "whatever". the "ITK" accounts, i.e "Agent ITK", or "Transfer rumours 24/7" are dying, as people don't fall for it anymore. It's actual people posting stuff from their own accounts with their face in a photo. If it is bullshit, it's much more realistic bullshit, because those people know they will get a verbal beating, if others find out they are talking ****!!!! haha. Still a long way to go till it can be called "a good source of info", though. probably your worst joke ever spurmey. yeah, this. who knows, at least it's keeping discussion alive!
I'm not even hungover or hot today. Just not doing goodly. I'll be back once i've sat in the corner for a while
I understand Bale saying nothing, as quite aside from the gag order, it's the smartest thing he can do. Contract/transfer negotations in and of themselves, are a game, and it's wise to stay silent. If a player talks about how much he loves the club, he's said, in effect, you don't need to pay me so much to keep me here. If he says how much he wants a move, the club ought to be less willing to pay so much, since he's damaged his worth as an asset. As to Gylfi: I hope we don't sell him. I know two goals in preseason don't mean much, but he has a real talent for producing goals. We've already ditched the other guy in that category on the grounds that that's all he could do. I agreed with that. Gylfi scores, passes, takes corners well, and works very hard tracking back. He was good last year setting up shop on the left and putting in dangerous passes and shots from there, even though that isn't his best position. The fastest player he isn't. But from my point of view we're already short a regular playmaker in the central "3" of the "4-3-3." Losing perhaps the best passer from the front three would not be a good move, especially when we're likely to lose one of the other good passers in Ade.
so, Soldado will be wearing the number 9 shirt next season. RS9. It's got a good ring about it. Then again, that's probably because it sounds similar to a car.
According the The Fail, Ronaldo has just signed a new 5 year bumper deal with RM. So does this mean Bale could be staying? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...o-Ronaldo-signs-new-75m-deal-Real-Madrid.html
Apparently Spurca (widely recognised as Spurs mouthpiece) are reporting Tottenham making a bid of £85m for Ronaldo. There has been no comment from Ronaldo but he desires to play in the best league in the world, the EPL according to the player's agent. Ancelotti has maintained his star player is not for sale. Ronaldo has maintained his silence on the situation but is apparently unhappy with his manager's comments. Spurs would welcome him with open arms: BAE quoted: 'Ronaldo is in the top two players in the world. He would fit in brilliantly with our team and our attacking brand of football. LOL'. Spurs legend Ledley King believes this would be the right time for a move for the Portuguese star. 'We can offer him Europa league football. We can offer him his chance to play alongside Ade and Livermore. He would be a welcome addition'. Talks are on-going between Ronaldo's camp, RM and Spurs. AvB had confirmed that Ronaldo is on the radar but that it would be disrespectful to RM to talk openly about their player and would not want to sour a 'great relationship'. Exciting times ahead.
I think Gylfi is better off for being a year ahead of Holtby, GS grabbing his half chances at the back end of the season, he made an impact when used, and bagged a couple. Of the two my current trust would be in GS, that doesn't mean I don't rate LH, he needs to show in his chances like GS has, important season for him, he could easily fall away such is the competition for places in the MF area. With Sandro, Paulinho and Dembele all way in front of his alleged preference for a deeper role, I do wonder now where he fits in a first team. Cheap win win gamble is beginning to nag me, from a club like ours point of view 1.5m is a nobrainer, if he hits the ground running all well and good, if not, theres a small profit.
I don't want a to sell Gylffi either. He's young, scores goals. He's a bit like Kranjar in that he hasn't got great pace but he's good on the ball and can score a goal. It's not like Parker, Huddlestone and Holtby (slightly harsh given how long he has been at the club) are exactly prolific.
In case nobody;s covered it already (my PC is running super slow this evening, so going back a few pages will take an irritatingly long time), it;s pretty clear who is pulling the strings: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...hope-of-forcing-real-madrid-move-8746444.html I get the distinct feeling that the next time Jonathan Barnett is spotted at the gates of Spurs Lodge, he'll be told to turn his car around and **** off.
Even when Sig was settling in, there were a number of attempts from him that hit woodwork or amazingly saved, he was very unlucky a number of times, another day and they'd have gone in, so I think he's got 5-10 in him, and has the ability to have a purple patch season where everything flies in. His contribution is very useful and more that can be said from some of our attack players.
I thought Barnett wasn't even Bale's agent, he just owns the company that Bale's agent belongs too or something? Strikes me that someone wants to get their name in the spotlight and may even have been promised a juicy slice of transfer fee pie should a move go through...
It's the first week of the month, so my Flash player always craps out. ...so having Kongregate in the background is a bright idea, isn't it?
